Down & Out In DC: Bush At Low Of 29% genre: Polispeak
President Bush's approval rating has dropped to an all time low of 29% in the latest Harris Interactive poll.
WASHINGTON, May 11 (UPI) -- U.S. President George W. Bush's job approval rating has fallen to 29 percent in a new Harris Interactive poll.
It is the lowest job approval rating of Bush's presidency, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday.
About one-quarter of U.S. adults said "things in the country are going in the right direction," while 69 percent said "things have pretty seriously gotten off on the wrong track." The trend has declined every month since January, when 33 percent said the nation was heading in the right direction, the Journal reported.

Daniel, thanks for the smile today! Chimpie playing in his "oval" office was the perfect graphic for the landmark drop into the 20s for Bushco.
Next landmark is the teens, and we may not have to wait that long with daily multiple scandals cropping up. Rest assured there's more to come.
I believe enough of the public understands that the NSA had no business tracking phone contacts on innocent U.S. citizens.
On Fox they simply make the issue the fact that the NSA wasn't listening to conversations, but what other possible reason would there be for setting up the huge database?
The NSA is identifying calling patterns, when they see the patterns, then they wiretap. Will that be a legal wiretap with court approval? Of course not, because the NSA did not get court approval for establishing the database in the first place.
Therefore the whole program has to be clandestine and very much against U.S. law.
