Dave Chappelle: The "Niggar" Family genre: Six Degrees of Speculation & Tongue-In-Cheek & Video-Philes
I hesitated to post this video on the chance that it would be found offensive. Nonetheless, I decided to post it because I believe Dave Chappelle did this skit to demonstrate that prejudice is primarily a function of choice. I think the piece demonstrates his genius and offers a commentary on discrimination through the use of a comedic reversal which is meant to illuminate the absurdity of racism. I think the skit succeeds in making an important statement about a difficult topic through the art of comedy.
