What got me was the way they illustrated the REASON why people, straight or gay, have sex in the first place! (That's the same no matter what the language or sexual orientation! I'm hetero FWIW). They drove that point home without getting all syrupy. Very adult (meaning not dumbed-down to reach some imaginary common denominator).

Sex education in American schools (what remains of it) is deficient because AFAIK, it tends to concentrate on biological mechanics and does not teach anything about relationships. As long as our kids are left to muddle out things for themselves, we should be glad our divorce rate is ONLY 50%.
