Rush Rises To The Occasion genre: Snapshot Thoughts & Tongue-In-Cheek
With the news that the Landmark Legal Foundation has "nominated" Rush Limbaugh for the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize, it seems appropriate to honor Rush here at Thought Theater...although it would seem he might be better suited for an award that recognizes his knowledge of "medicine".

What's even funnier is that they described him as advocating "equality and opportunity for all humankind", but, of course neglected to include sexual orientation in the descriptor. I guess I should be happy they used "humankind" and not "mankind" - that's progress in neo-conservatism! WHAT has Rush Limbaugh done for humankind? He sits on his fat ass in a chair behind a booth and spews a mix of 80% nonsense and 20% hate, and, on more than a few occasions, pops a few dozen pills (purchased through his maid). How is THAT helping humankind?
